Inspection Comments | INVESTIGATED COMPLAINT ABOUT INSECT IN FOOD. OWNER STATED THAT THE FAMILY MEMBERS FOOD WAS REPLACED WHEN A BUG WAS FOUND ON THE PLATE. THE ISSUE ESCALATED BECAUSE THE ONE PERSON'S FOOD WAS FREE AND THE REST OF THE BILL WAS NOT. THEY DEMANDED THAT THE BILL BE FREE FOR EVERYONE AND WHEN THEY WERE DENIED THEY THREATEN TO CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. THE WAITRESS WHO DELIVERED THE FOOD THAT DAY SAID SHE ACTUALLY SAW TO BUG CRAWL ONTO THE PLATE FROM THE WINDOW LEDGE WHEN SHE PLACED IT ON THE TABLE. THE OWNER STATED AGAIN THAT THE PEST CONTROL COMPANY WAS THERE LAST WEEK. I SUGGESTED THAT DUE TO THE CONSTRUCTION WORK BEING DONE NEXT DOOR THEY HAVE THE PEST COMPANY OUT MORE OFTEN TO CONTROL ANY EXTRA NUISANCES THAT MAY BE DISTURBED. |
